These dinosaurs are actually made out of polymer clay. I made these a few years ago when I was about 12 or 13. I used the grass in my yard to try to make a unique scene with the nature to engulf the figures in the landscape.
I was given this little trinket box by one of my friends in 5th grade, I have always loved France with all of my heart but I have never been. It is a dream of mine to go to Paris and take a photo of the Eiffel Tower just like the ones I took here. This small box holds a big place in my heart.
Frayed.
As a dancer of 12 years, my pointe shoes were definitely my biggest accomplishment. It is a huge deal for a dancer to get her pointe shoes, because it means that she has reached a certain level of accuracy and that she is strong enough to go up on pointe. I love the way that the light hits my shoes, and the signs of distress on them makes the photo that much more interesting.
My cousin Leah buys me one of these bracelets every Christmas. The first bracelet I got was from her wedding, these bracelets are really special to because of the meaning behind them. I took a more simplistic route when photographing this object, because I wanted to really focus on the lines of the metal and the shapes on the charm.
This little guy came all the way from Hawaii. My family and I went about two years ago, and I was the happiest I have ever been when I was there. Seeing this reminds me of the warm weather, the sun and the ocean breeze. Again, I took a simple route in order to catch the colors and the details on the face and body.
