Each person is made up of unique small things that make them who they are. For example, some people like summer, some like fall, or some people like ketchup and some despise it. All of these small differences from person to person make us who we are and in this photograph are a few examples of small things that make me, me. I have an overwhelming love for rain, it is by far the most relaxing thing to me. When it rains, I listen to rainy day music and I am just at my happiest. Second are the sunflowers, along with my love for rain I also love fall. Sunflowers are so beautiful to me with all their detail within the seeds and the bright yellow, to me is a very happy color. Lastly, the book shelf. I personally don't like reading that much but a romance novel in my hand and I will finish it within a few hours. I love going to used book stores, which is where this photograph was taken. I love seeing books that are so beat up from being read and loved so much it is just really endearing to me. I used different blending modes in Photoshop, which made some saturation changes and helped the images pop a little bit more. I also arranged the images in a certain way in order to accentuate them all. There are so many more small things that are unique about all of us, which I think is one of the coolest things about people.
Girl power and Graffiti love.
In this trimester I have learned so many things about photography. I feel that my knowledge and skills have greatly improved throughout the course. The double exposure image, to me shows a lot of detail, and during the class we learned to accentuate detail on our photographs in order to improve them. As shown in the selfie, there is multiple elements coming together to create one image, but in the double exposure I feel that the point is much clearer, and that is how I feel about my photography skills as well. The double exposure image is much cleaner, and more straightforward.
